SCOTT E. LEVENS

Scott is of counsel with the firm. Scott has over twenty years of experience as a litigator with the majority of his career being dedicated to the representation of insurance carriers and their insureds. Scott has represented insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage matters involving environmental sites, asbestos, mold and silica in New Jersey and a variety of state and federal jurisdictions on the East Coast. As to insureds, Scott has represented businesses and individuals in a broad range of cases involving automobiles, toxic torts, products liability, professional liability, construction defects and general liability/negligence.

After law school Scott served as the judicial clerk for the Honorable Peter B. Cooper, J.S.C. for the New Jersey Superior Court, Essex County vicinage. Prior to joining Rebar Kelly, Scott spent more than ten years as Senior Counsel for a major insurance carrier representing the carrier and its family of insurers in all aspects of litigated and non-litigated insurance coverage disputes.
