Rebar Kelly is proud to support Penn State THON. The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is a year-long fundraising and awareness campaign for the fight against pediatric cancer. This effort engages more than 15,000 students across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in hopes of finding a cure.

The year culminates with a 46 hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon known as THON Weekend. This event is held at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center each year in the month of February. In 2013, THON raised a record-breaking $13.3 million and is able to donate 96% of funds raised directly to the Four Diamonds Fund.

This year the Keefe family and Rebar Kelly joined in supporting Michael Keefe who was selected as one of 4 students to represent the Harrisburg campus. As the Family chair for THON Harrisburg, he is in charge of organizing events for the two THON families they sponsor. In thinking about what THON has meant to him, he stated “. I wish you could all be on the floor with me dancing this year. THON has given me many great moments in my life and I have met many of my closest friends, and some extraordinary kids and families while in THON.” Congratulations Mike and all the THON participants. You do a great job FTK (For The Kids)
