James C Riviezzo is reaching out to you in seek of your assistance for his upcoming participation in the 2015 New York City Marathon. On November 1st, he will run 26.2 miles as part of a team raising both awareness and funds for a non-profit called City Harvest.

Founded in 1982 as the world’s first food rescue organization, City Harvest is dedicated to helping feed the nearly 1.5 million New Yorkers facing hunger. City Harvest collects excess food from restaurants, grocers, bakeries, manufacturers, and farms, and delivers it free of charge to more than 500 community food programs across the city.
