October 10, 2014Fundraiser Hosted by CLM and Benefiting ClaimVets
On Tuesday July 22, 2014 Cathleen Kelly Rebar will be attending a fundraiser hosted by CLM and benefiting ClaimVets. The event will be held in New York City and is a book launch party to celebrate the publication of Larry Goanos, Dean of CLM Claims College amazing book; “D&O 101: Understanding Directors and Officers Liability Insurance – A Holistic Approach. All money raised at the event goes to ClaimVets. ClaimVets is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a pathway for veterans to enter the claims profession. It is unique not only in its focus on the claims profession, but by the breadth of services it provides. The foundation will underwrite the costs to recruit and train veterans to become claims professionals, facilitate the procurement of adjuster licenses and provide access to career mentoring and office skills training. Job placement services will be made available through the CLM support network of more than 25,000 members.
ClaimVets will also partner with other organizations to help provide resources such as suitable clothing, resume assistance and relocation for the veterans and their families. Once employed, ClaimVets will ensure veterans success through continuing educational and networking opportunities. Rebar Kelly is proud to support this event and ClaimVets.
