NJSBA’s Insurance Law Section also tracks pending legislation and regulations affecting insurance, and communicates with the New Jersey State Legislature and other groups concerning proposed bills. The NJSBA Insurance Law Section also develops and conducts seminars and CLEs regarding insurance law and other general insurance coverage issues, such as interpreting and understanding various lines of coverage and the impact of recent Court decisions (state and federal) on the scope of insurance coverage and insurers’ obligations. Members of NJSBA’s Insurance Law Section practice in all areas of insurance law from regulatory and transactional issues to coverage and litigation; and work for law firms, governmental agencies, as well as in-house with corporate and regulatory entities.
